To Create A Solution
One of the greatest feelings in the world is to create. The idea that floats around in your head can become real and you are only limited by your resources. The idea that we can achieve greatness with less is one that is truly remarkable. My mother taught me to do with what I have until I get what I want. My work will be a representation of this lesson. I will do the best I can with what I have and everyday I will get better.
The ability to design is only one form of the art. Manufacturing brings that art piece to life.
The reason I do this is because I love it.
My dad showed me how cool the world is and told me that I should take my time to explore it.
He showed me that a car can take me anywhere I need to go, so here I am.
E30 M42 Turbo (Dual Plenum Intake Manifold Project)
For this project I chose to use my daily driven E30 as the test subject. Prior to the senior design project I chose to use my E30 as a means to build and develop skills. This project touched on fabrication, welding, tuning as well as CAD design. The experience I obtained allowed me to propose a dual plenum intake manifold to my university. I was able to design and take part in the manufacturing of the final product.
E82 BMW 135I 2JZ Swap (Turbo Dual Plenum)
So the time has come for a new daily driver. My one dilemma was finding something that I would enjoy as much as my E30. I have always enjoyed the handling of a BMW with a proper suspension so the chassis was a no brainer. I chose to swap to a platform that would be reliable and modern enough to suite my needs. The opportunity to play with variable valve timing was a must. My goal is to create a responsive high horsepower street car while learning some new tricks along the way.
